Diamond Painting

Diamond painting is mosaic craft, not painting. Each canvas arrives printed with a grid of
symbols and coated in adhesive; you pick up faceted resin rhinestones — the “drills”
— with a wax-tipped applicator pen and set them square by square. The finished piece has
a faceted surface that catches light, which is why it is usually hung rather than stored away.

Every kit here is full drill: the whole image is covered in stones rather
than a partial motif over a printed background, so the sparkle runs edge to edge. Kits include
the pre-glued canvas, colour-sorted drills with spares, the applicator pen, wax and a sorting
tray. Round drills are the forgiving choice for a first canvas; they seat easily and small
alignment errors disappear once a section fills in.

Size drives detail, not difficulty. A larger canvas gives each symbol more room, which makes
faces, reflections and fine architecture readable — on a small canvas those areas
compress into a few stones. If a design has several subjects or intricate detail, choose the
larger option.

Diamond painting suits people who find brushwork fiddly or want something repetitive and
calming to do with their hands. There is no colour mixing, no drying time, and a section can be
put down mid-row and picked up days later.
